Fisrt I selected only PC games because I think games on differents platforms give a different pleasure of playing.
I remember the first Diablo, who given a completly different multipplayer gameplay on PC and Playstation.

Let's start
5/ Comand & Conquer : The series but particulary the first one and the "red alert" one, history with real video and good missions give me many hours and many re-playing. One replay by year.

4/ Heroes of might and magic : My first play was with the Second of the serie. Universe, gameplay, difficulty i think its the best.

3/ Diablo 1/2 : best Multiplayer and addictive games before MMO. mithical and mystical universe

2/ Fallout : Big Universe, big story, many "private joke", Number two is the best, and i think 3D "real map", with the 3rd, lost the particular ambience.

1/ EVE Online : Real MMO, Real player driven Market, only one thing needed IRL Spaceships :p
